Went for a little day hike today, turned out to be quite grueling, about 2000 vertical feet in around 4 miles... about an hour and a half from my house, out of the Plumas-Eureka State Park near Graegle, California. Park at the old Jamison Mine
and take off up the hill. First you come to Grass Lake,
then skirt the edge and continue up the hill to Jamison Lake,
and its spillway,
then a little detour over to the aptly named Rock Lake,
then up the hill.
looking down at the previously pictured grass lake
looking down at Wades Lake
finally up to the pacific crest trail, you can see it weacing up the hill in the distance, quite the hiking highway!
And a bonus picture of king salmon fishing in southern Alaska!
Signing off....
