I didn't think the title of this blog would be so fitting... Seems like the only time I update is at the end of a long weekend when I have been away from the computer for a while.

Dog park, drinks, hike, G. Love & Special Sauce concert, hike, bike, barbeque, walk, tv on the the couch, some errands and dog walks mixed in. All in all a pretty good weekend. Had some good food, good music (Hawkins Amphitheater), good company.

Ta Ta for now, I think I will be checking in with some updates on the upcoming big end of summer home project.

Ohh Loook A Puppy!

This is Kendra, she came home with me from the SPCA today. Probably a shepherd mix of some sort, she is 16 weeks old and 10 lbs. Her sisters' names were Holly and Bridget, after these girls. Bridget went home with a fellow Odyssey Engineering guy, Holly unfortunately got snatched up before we could convince another guy to go get her. I am sure the two sisters will get to hang out once in a while.

So far, since we got home earlier this afternoon, she has mostly been sleeping in her crate or under my coffee table. Probably had a long stressful week coming from Fallon to the shelter here in Reno, then out to my house. I also get the impression she may have had some house training, she goes as soon as she gets outside! (After she settled down...)



Sorry for the picture quality, my camera batteries were dying and I haven't had a chance to teach her to pose yet... As soon as the batteries charge I will try to get some better pics.

Anyway, I thought a quick introduction was in order, I am sure there will be more updates to come. Gotta go, I have to start teaching her to fetch girls! Nothing better than a puppy...
